Your privacy is important to Parent Network of WNY. Whether you are a donor, a workshop participant, a volunteer, an organization, or a community partner, our commitment to conduct business honestly and protect your privacy is at the heart of our Privacy Policy. This notice explains our communication policies and the use of information volunteered by visitors that participate in activities on our website, including making a donation, registration and email and regular mail correspondence.
 

Our Communications

Visitors to guideandconnect.org may be required to provide their name, phone number and a valid email address when making a donation, registering for a workshop, signing up for our newsletter or contacting us through a contact form. Parent Network of WNY will never share, sell or rent its list of Guide & Connect participants to any other organization.
 

USPS: Parent Network of WNY, periodically uses regular mail to send our calendar and other announcements. However, our primary method of communication is via email and website announcements. If you would like to stop receiving mailed correspondence, please notify us by email at info@parentnetworkwny.org or call 716-332-4170.
 

Email: If you use our contact form or sign up to receive our newsletter you may be required to provide names, email, phone and a message. You may receive an electronic confirmation from our 3rd party merchant, MailChimp, to confirm this request. Parent Network of WNY, may periodically contact its visitors about calendar events and/or initiatives. Your privacy is important, and your information will not be shared.

Donations: Parent Network of WNY is a not for profit, charitable organization formed under Section 501(c)3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Donations to Parent Network are tax-deductible as charitable contributions for US federal income tax purposes.
 

If you make a Donation to Parent Network of WNY, you will be required to provide names, email, phone, addresses and credit card numbers. Parent Network of WNY, collects this information to provide appropriate acknowledgements to donors and to provide donors with valid tax-deductible receipts. You may receive an electronic receipt or acknowledgement from our 3rd party merchant, Click & Pledge, a trusted registration and donation software provider that also utilizes encryption technology. Your privacy is important, and your information will not be shared.
 

Opt-In/Opt-Out: If you do send us information by filling out any of the forms on the site, registering for an event or donation, you will be opting-in and added to our email and mailing lists.  If you do not wish to receive email or USPS mail correspondence, you can either opt-out when filling out by checking the “opt-out” box on the forms or “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email you receive. To opt-out of non-essential emails or mail from Parent Network of WNY, please notify us at info@parentnetworkwny.org or call 716-332-4170. Surveys: Occasionally, Parent Network of WNY may ask visitors and participants to engage in surveys. Participation is completely voluntary. The information collected will be used to better the website performance, gauge donor satisfaction, and support the goals of Parent Network of WNY. Links: Our website contains links to other websites. Please be aware that while we put these links up with good faith that the information provided on these sites is accurate, we are not responsible for the privacy policy of these other sites.
 

Changes to Our Privacy Policy: Parent Network of WNY reserves the right to change this policy whenever deemed necessary and without prior notification. Should changes be made, they will be posted on this Privacy Notice with the date of revision.
